The automaker had a lot to offer visitors, and after seeing everything that was showcased by the Japanese manufacturer at this year’s show, it is clear that Mazda will be the talk of the industry this year.

There was of course the brand new CX-3, Mazda’s new urban sport-utility vehicle that will join a growing segment when it goes on sale in the near future. Next to the CX-3, there was the brand new, new-generation Mazda MX-5, Mazda’s most iconic model.

And a few feet away, there was still some new changes to be noticed by show visitors. Indeed, Mazda showcased refreshed versions of the Mazda6 and new Mazda CX-5, two of the automakers most popular offerings. The changes are not extravagant, but that was to be expected as the automaker currently has two very capable, very well-received models on their hands.

That said, the Mazda6 and the CX-5 get slight exterior modifications designed to give them an even sportier look while the ride has been improved to offer better comfort while not taking anything away from the model’s dynamic side. A few interior modifications are also expected.

“Since their introduction, our new-generation models have proven very popular among customers. Now, with our CX-3 to be introduced into the fast-growing compact SUV segment, the updated Mazda6 and CX-5 reflecting our latest technologies and ideas, and the all-new MX-5 as a symbol of the Mazda brand, our new-generation line-up responds to the needs of an even wider range of customers,” summed up Mazda’s President and CEO Masamichi Kogai.
